Oracle Cloud Platform Engineer
6-month Contract to hire

About the Role: Oracle OCI experience of 5+ years and Cloud Platform Engineer: OCI & OIC.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of experience managing the implementation of Oracle Integration projects between Oracle on-prem, Oracle cloud ERP and other 3rd party systems.
- Experience designing, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
- Implement and manage cloud security policies, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is required along with OIC, VBCS and PCS administration experience.
- Experience working with on-prem and cloud OIC agents(setup, debug and support).
- Experience with design and developing of custom applications using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to extend Oracle Fusion Cloud capabilities.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving issues to enhance performance for the interfaces in Oracle Integration cloud.
- Experience ensuring auditing compliance across Oracle infrastructure and security.
- Experience in OCI capabilities of Oracle observability and management(Log analytics, activity stream logs, dashboards, monitoring etc).
- Implement high availability, backup strategies, and disaster recovery for OIC platforms ensuring business continuity and data protection.
- Monitor and optimize the team's infrastructure components, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing performance tuning measures.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management processes using tools and scripts to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and management of the infrastructure (eg Python, Shell, Ansible).
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues, working closely with the development team and vendors as needed.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest application releases, infrastructure technologies, and industry best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on existing and future solutions.
- Experience in working in a mixed onshore/offshore team environment.
- Oracle cloud platform certifications are a plus.
