What We Are Seeking:
An Environmental Project Manager who is driven to contribute to a wide range of projects ranging from site investigations to regulatory compliance tasks, feasibility studies, and remedial design and/or implementation for both common and emerging (i.e., PFAS) contaminants. Our client is a sell/manage/do organization, so your duties will also include supporting marketing/business development efforts and serving in a managing role over support staff.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Provide client and project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental investigations and remediation oversight.
- Lead technical teams working with our Houston team and across multiple offices throughout the country, problem-solving, preparing plans and specifications, and meeting with clients and subcontractors.
- Develop Work Plans and/or Sampling and Analysis Plans and coordinate investigation activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air, soil gas, and stormwater sampling).
- Conducting and managing site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
- Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration, data analysis, regulatory compliance evaluation, and assessment.
- Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the quality assurance/quality control of deliverables about projects and tasks self-managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others.
Requirements for the Position:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil, Chemical, Geology, Biology, or related Environmental degree.
- Texas P.E, or Texas P.G. Certification.
- 10-15 Years of relevant experience in environmental assessment/remediation.
- HAZWOPER training and certification.
- Knowledge or experience in RCRA and CERCLA processes (RI/FS, RD/RA, ROD, LTM) and documentation preferred.
- Experience with federal projects and/or working with DoD/Navy projects, and/or experience with Texas state-lead contracts (AIRS, DCRP) preferred.
- Understanding of federal facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to travel to support ongoing environmental projects.
