Summary
The project manager is responsible for overseeing multiple superintendents and projects within the company. This requires extensive knowledge of the industry, project management fundamentals, and employee performance, while also striving to align with the company's strategic goals, mission, values, and beliefs. The project manager will report to the area construction manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ten (10) years of experience as a Project Manager within the industrial electrical services industry.
- Exceptional planning, scheduling, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Demonstrable knowledge level of Flawless work Delivery.
- Able to issue and follow up on Non-Conformity Reports.
- Able to review and improve ITP and Quality Procedures.
- Able to review and interpret quality records and determine associated compliance with requirements (Performance data, test record, inspection record, and other quality data and documents).
- Familiar with regulatory requirements as required (DOT, USCG, etc.).
- Able to review and understand planning techniques such as cost control, material control, and project control plans.
- Able to review and interpret technical requirements in contracts/purchase orders.
- Experience with or willingness to learn fact-based decision-making and root cause analysis, evaluation of supplier corrective and preventative actions, and determination if these actions were effective.
- Able to use computers and programs (email, word processing, and spreadsheets as a minimum) for general business applications.
- Experience working in difficult and or continuous operation environments with diverse work types and simultaneous operations.
Essential Functions
- Manage all phases of on-site project activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Review daily productivity reports provide feedback to teams and report to the management team.
- Provide Key Performance Indicator reports, consolidated activity reports, and continuous improvement submissions to management.
- Monitor estimated hours per job and challenge teams to safely reduce job time requirements by sound job planning and implementing alternative ways of working.
- Provide real-time information feedback to the management team on quality issues and concerns.
- Interface with the contract management team including the procurement group, turnaround, projects, and maintenance teams.
- Conduct regular project updates and strategic meetings with stakeholders to report on progress and address any concerns.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate clear communication and efficient project execution
- Offer ongoing technical guidance and support to project teams, enhancing project outcomes
- Ensure adherence to company and industry HSE protocols and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned

The overall nature of the position is sedentary in nature requiring occasional physical effort and exertion.
Work Environment
Occasionally exposed to variable weather conditions. Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, working in elevated positions or in confined spaces.
