Berkshire Hathaway Inc. is hiring a full time Corporate Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager is responsible for activities related to the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
Duties and responsibilities:

Coordinate reporting schedules with numerous decentralized reporting units

Review and analyze financial statements

Organize data for consolidated reporting purposes

Recommend reporting guidelines for reporting units
-
Monitor intercompany transactions for elimination
-
Assess, develop and monitor internal control documentation
-
Prepare portions of consolidated financial statements and disclosures
-
Work with internal and external auditors
-
Identify and recommend process improvements
-
Review SEC data tagging
-
Economic data surveys
-
Other duties as assigned
Skills and qualifications:
-
College accounting degree required; CPA preferred
-
Experience and proficiency in financial consolidation software and/or data management workflow tools, and MS Office
-
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Ability to organize and efficiently assemble data

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
