Flowtec is actively recruiting for a Piping Mechanical Engineer who will prepare submittals and follow up with the sales team until they are approved.
The EPS Specialist ensures that any specialized modifications and materials are communicated to the production team. This individual will also assist with the assembly, installation, and shipping of all EPS units, provide advanced customer support, and perform other related duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possesses the ability to interpret plan drawings and project specifications, and make independent decisions regarding submittals.
- Reviews engineer-approved submittals, makes necessary adjustments, and responds to the engineer's inquiries appropriately.
- Provides project submittals to national sales teams and ensures timely follow-up on any questions.
- Offers technical support when applicable.
- Collaborates with sales, operations, engineering, manufacturing, service, and marketing teams to enhance business processes and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Submits accurate and timely reports on workflow status.
- Performs warehouse tasks, including shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
- Promptly involves the manager in significant issues.
- Works effectively with staff and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
- Assists with office and sales tasks as needed.
- Maintains regular punctuality, attendance, and adherence to company policies, which are crucial for successful performance in this role.
- Fully complies with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with piping systems
- Water, Wastewater, and/or Oil & Gas industry experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Piping installation, service, and repair experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with customers, engineers, distributors, vendors, contractors, and internal personnel
