Job Description:
Neuron (aka GFC Modernization) is getting architected as distributed system to be deployed in private cloud and requires experienced engineers for transforming to next-gen platform. It is one of the key foundational work and needs to be finalized in early stage for build-out. It has been challenging to find right candidate as FTE in US. In process of delivering Neuron MVP this year, An cloud engineer needs to be on boarded asap.

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
Requirements:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Developing distributed system using Java/RX Java, Kafka, distributed cache and Cockroach DB.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, GraphQL and Micro-services architecture to build secure and data resilient system with strong communication skills
• Working experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, S3, compute etc.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Must be able to assess the current state data model and recommend target state.
• Expertise in designing system for immediate consistency and highly performant real-time aggregation
• Experience with Splunk, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Dynatrace etc.
