A Brief Overview
- Performs slide review of GYN and Non GYN specimens.
- Assists on Rapid On-site Evaluations, R.O.S.E.
- Ability to perform all Cytology Processor functions.
- Perform Imager maintenance and maintain QA documents.
- Examines and evaluates microscopic preparations of cytology specimens
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor s degree in biological or chemical science or requirement specific in CLIA 88 to perform high complexity testing; Graduate of Cytology certified program preferred
Certification: ASCP certification or equivalent. If do not possess at date of hire must obtain within 3 months from hire
Experience: Previous experience preferred or at a minimum graduation from a Cytology certified program
