Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager in our Civil Division at DiMaio Concrete & Construction in Wilmington, NC. Dimaio Concrete & Construction, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Civil Concrete Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction management, with a proven ability to manage construction projects from scheduling to cost management. This role involves light estimating, handling change orders, project coordination, and overseeing billing processes to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Estimating Skills: Experience with construction estimating, particularly in concrete projects, with the ability to accurately assess costs.
- Concrete Construction Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of concrete construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently, even under pressure.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with a focus on managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in concrete construction project management.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
