Position Overview for the PostgreSQL DBA:
Our client is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and enhance the PostgreSQL environment. This role involves overseeing the administration of existing PostgreSQL databases, with responsibilities including defining, planning, implementing, and supporting the physical databases for the enterprise.
Required Skills for the PostgreSQL DBA:
- 6+ years' experience as a database administrator
- 5+ years' experience within SQL Servers
- 3+ years' experience in PostgreSQL database administration
- 1+ year of experience within cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL)
