Job Title: Product Manager / Business Solutions Architect (Guidewire BillingCenter)
Work Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid – Onsite) / Markham, Ontario, Canada / Remote
Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Business Architect to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire BillingCenter and extensive experience in migrating legacy products to Guidewire Cloud.
- As a Guidewire BillingCenter Business Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the migration process, ensuring a seamless transition to the cloud environment.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proven experience as a Guidewire BillingCenter Business Architect, with a focus on migrating legacy products to Guidewire Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of Guidewire BillingCenter, including configuration, integration, and data model.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, particularly Guidewire Cloud.
- Well-versed with OOTB BillingCenter functionalities, including invoicing, delinquency, payments, commission, general ledger, and casualty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for migrating legacy products to Guidewire Cloud, including data migration, integration, and system configuration.
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements and align technology with business strategy and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Guidewire technology and cloud computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Relevant certifications in Guidewire and cloud technologies (Ace/Professional/Associate GW Cloud Certification) are a plus.
