Shermco US is hiring a Field Service Apprentice
Job Description:
The MSD Field Service Apprentice will be responsible for assisting experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment and devices. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the necessary skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified MSD Field Service Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment and devices
- Learn and follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Attend training sessions and complete all required coursework
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow all safety procedures and guidelines
