Our client is a local Automotive Supplier undertaking a large scale SAP implementation. They are in need of a skilled SAP Project Manager with full implementation lifecycle experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for performing project management work in planning, coordinating, and managing one or more large-scale ERP projects of moderate to high complexity.
- Ensures project objectives are clearly scoped, documented, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinates all project deliverables with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, consultants, and end-users regarding project requirements.
- Helps identify key personnel, external resources, and vendors to support project objectives.
- Outlines, defines, and initiates the project with the project team
- Compiles project reports and informs management regarding progress, risks, and problems.
- Ensures compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitors and tracks project expenditures in accordance with the set project budget.
- Communicates with all internal and external stakeholders throughout all phases of the project.
- Works directly with the IT Management team to support projects objectives and deliverables
- Always promotes an atmosphere of teamwork
- Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained
- Complete any other duties as assigned
Requirements include:
- Must have 5+ years of experience in a project management role
- Experience leading large scale ERP projects in complex manufacturing environments
- Experience leading a full end-to-end SAP implementation
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals
- Strong communication skills and leadership to help bridge the gap between IT, operations, consultants, and the customer.
- Must be willing to get their hands dirty and be fully engaged, not just a coordinator of tasks.
