Job Description
As a Strategic Innovation and Planning team, we serve MCX and McDonald’s by shepherding the function’s resources toward the most critical activities that improve customer experience. Working across McDonald’s Customer Experience (MCX) and Technology teams, the Manager of Product Portfolio Management will support the prioritization and lifecycle of digital products.
As a Manager of Product Portfolio Management, you will have several areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of ongoing intake, prioritization, agile capacity and dependency management for MCX / CPP portfolio
- Own the maintenance of strategic Global MCX / CPP product roadmaps along with routines to continuously keep them up to date and aligned against company and portfolio objectives
- Engage the Product team in feedback and continuous improvement routines, ensuring the Portfolio Management role optimally supports the work of the Product function
- Liaise with Technology counterparts to support ensuring a cohesive view of prioritization, capacity, and delivery of MCX / CPP ongoing work
- Facilitate forums to provide transparency on product roadmaps and ongoing progress of work for corporate, segment, and market counter-parts
- Possess a keen willingness and ability to understand the business context underpinning the work prioritized and delivered in the product portfolio
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years professional experience, previous experience in Product organizations of large companies a plus
- Customer-focused strategic thinker with the ability to support identifying how processes connect to and impact the overall business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to support the communication of complex issues to executive stakeholders
- Experience working on / with product teams supporting all or part of the digital ecosystem including mobile apps, websites, kiosks, Point of Sale systems, systems with physical hardware component a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to support establishing and meeting deadlines; comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders, develop strong relationships, and work seamlessly across functions and levels within the company
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to problem solve and balance competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters degree in a technology or quantitative field
- Previous Project / Program Management and Portfolio Management experience
