Job Description
Provide Financial Governance-Business Execution support for multiple Technology areas via:
• Driving productivity/cost savings initiatives in partnership with senior management team
• Identification, creation, and implementation of standardized financial processes, across each of the Tech areas
• Gathering and documenting business requirements
• Ownership and day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, coordination, and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations.
• Identifying key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
• Fostering and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders.
• Providing implementation / post-implementation project support
• Management of Technology related expenses via forecasting and variance analysis
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation, and safeguarding the company, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 6-10 years of prior Finance or related experience
• Financial analytics capabilities with strong organizational skills - ability to understand big picture and get into the intricate details.
• Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals, and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
• Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process, and seek out answers.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and process management skills
• Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
Education :
• Bachelor’s/University degree, MBA preferred
