Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Security Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity and Cloud Solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will manage all aspects of our clients' technologies, provide mentorship, perform IT assessments, deliver recommendations, and foster strong customer relationships. You will also be responsible for developing IT security strategies to ensure the protection of our clients' data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in networking, mobility, virtualization, security, and cloud-based solutions.
- Evaluate, recommend, implement, manage, and execute new technologies.
- Update existing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Develop IT security strategies to meet current and future requirements while optimizing the IT budget.
- Understand and implement on-premise, hybrid, and cloud architectures following best practices for operational resiliency.
- Provide detailed documentation and work independently in various environments.
- Participate in proposal development, product research, and sales meetings with prospective clients.
- Understand and implement IT governance fundamentals.
Technical Expertise Required:
Security & Compliance:
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Purview for data privacy and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Proficient in threat hunting for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Knowledge of compliance models based on AI technologies.
Cloud Services:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS services, including VMs, storage, networking, backup/site recovery, and security.
- Proficient in AWS and Google Cloud services.
- Experience with the transformation from on-premises to cloud services.
Identity & Access Management:
- Experience with identity services from multiple vendors, including Active Directory and Okta.
- Expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and configurations.
- Understanding of data barriers within teams.
Configuration Management & Best Practices:
- Strong knowledge of Change and Configuration Management.
- Familiarity with best practices as described by vendors and the Center for Internet Security (CIS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT consulting.
- Certifications in Microsoft security (focused on Azure and Microsoft 365) and an industry-recognized certification such as CISSP, IAPP/US.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain complex IT needs and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong hands-on experience with networking, firewalls, routing, switching, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft).
