Terms:
- On-Site 5 days a week at Miami, Office
- Schedule may be flexible as this person will be supporting the West Coast Office which is a team of about 75 MAC users.
- Hours may be 8-4 PM EST / 9-6 PM EST but may change to 10-7 PM EST to be able to support West Coast.
- 1 year long term project ( possible contract to hire after 1 year )
MAC Systems Administrator
The MAC Systems Administrator will be responsible for the support, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of MAC systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JAMF for managing Apple devices and ensuring seamless integration with our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support MAC OS X systems across the organization.
- Use JAMF Pro to deploy, manage, and secure Apple devices (MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, etc.).
- Perform software and system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on MAC systems.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access.
- Maintain inventory and asset management of MAC devices.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on MAC systems and software.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Support the administration and deployment of new users' equipment, ensuring timely and efficient setup.
- Assist in onboarding new employees by configuring and deploying MAC devices tailored to their roles.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a MAC Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency with JAMF Pro for Apple device management.
- Strong knowledge of MAC OS X operating systems and applications.
- Experience with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and end user skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., JAMF Certified Associate, JAMF Certified Tech) are a Big plus.
