Kane Partners is searching for a Processing Engineer for a manufacturing company focused on custom products. We are searching for a strong Processing Engineer to design, oversee and implement processes within our engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication and materials as well as soliciting observations from technicians.
· All activities are focused around technical and operational support to the production, maintenance, and support staff in the areas of process improvement, equipment modification and optimization, safety and quality improvement, and increasing throughput.
· Conduct installation qualification of manufacturing equipment, operation qualification, and process qualification.
· Design tooling and develop process for plastic extrusion and secondary fabrication
· Investigate and evaluate new technologies, equipment, and raw materials.
· Coordinate the tooling needs for new products with die development
This is a full-time Processing Engineer position with an established materials manufacturing company. The right candidate will be focused on process improvement and detailed engineering.
