Responsible for the Property: Powertrain Performance & Efficiency, hence the powertrain power that drives brakes the vehicle with the optimal efficiency for all powertrain types; Diesel, H2, and Electric powertrains. Collect, and understand the customer expectations regarding energy fuel consumption and drivability, as well as the global CO2 GHG targets and translate those to powertrain property requirements and vice versa. Start-up and lead definition teams to develop feasible powertrain concepts and come to aligned (decomposed) target requirements for the powertrain systems components to meet the, as above mentioned, customer expectations. Advise the Scope Steering Committee during the decision-making process for project scoping. Define and document powertrain target requirements. Set up verification & validation plans and monitor the property performance status throughout the development project. Present property proposals and or status in management meetings. Qualifications Skills Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant area such as Automotive or Mechanical Engineering required. Master of Science preferred. 5-7 years of experience primarily within the automotive sector. Knowledge on: Powertrain Domain VECTO GEM regulatory tools V-cycle definition and testing process Pro-active attitude and perseverance Excellent Cooperation and communication skills in English including management presentation skills.
