THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent. Responsibilities include developing and executing a release testing plan. The role includes developing project plans, test cases, planning execution, preparing test data, and reporting execution status. Works closely with technical staff to plan QA cycles. The ideal candidate understands the healthcare ecosystem, SDLC, and RDBMS concepts. This role involves collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data systems. Provide technical support for data-related issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data quality framework.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
This role will work on the data engineering team at MHN and will help to ensure data deliverables are delivered accurately and on time. This includes implementations for new clients and also supporting our existing clients and in-house care management services. If you like working with different cross-functional teams and provide good technical solutions with existing or new services, you would be a perfect fit for this role.
- Leads and develops processes for auditing data warehouse changes and ensuring a high level of data quality.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring adherence with relevant healthcare industry standards.
- Design and develop automated data quality checks and validation scripts to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and develop test cases.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data quality processes, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide technical support for data-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving data quality problems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure data quality best practices are followed.
- Conduct regular audits of data systems to ensure compliance with data quality standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- BS in technology or related analytical field, MS preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of SQL experience, including a strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, as well as MS Excel to analyze and manipulate data.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving mind. Ability to track a data element from source through transformation to target.
- Strong understanding of healthcare medical, pharmacy, and other data; as well as advanced knowledge of standard healthcare data feeds in EDI, HL7, and flat file formats.
- Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships, both within and across departments.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Python
- Scrum Master Certification or equivalent experience
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
