Technical Business Analyst Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business teams, managers, and consultants to document business processes, create specifications, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The Technical Business Analyst will play a critical role in improving performance, quality, and ensuring seamless interfaces and constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specification Design and Creation: Design and develop specifications based on business team requests, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.
- Business Process Documentation: Collaborate with managers and consultants to accurately document business processes, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date information.
- Infrastructure Management: Ensure that necessary infrastructure elements such as documents, policy manuals, periodicals, and other resources are current and readily accessible.
- Functional Requirements Development: Create and develop functional system requirements aimed at enhancing performance, quality, external interfaces, and constraints.
- Requirement Analysis: Analyze derived requirements to ensure they meet customer requests, providing detailed feedback and adjustments as needed.
- Specification Outlining: Outline the specifications of requirements using standard templates, covering both use cases and detailed software needs.
- Requirement Management: Manage requirements effectively, ensuring they are stored in automated systems and easily traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
- Requirements Traceability: Supervise requirements traceability, recording the status of requirements through the project’s progression.
- Change Control Monitoring: Monitor changes in baseline requirements, applying change control processes and tools to manage adjustments efficiently.
- Data Synthesis and Insight Gathering: Synthesize data to gather insights that feed into the future roadmap, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably within an IT or software development environment.
