TITLE: Staff Software Engineer, Android
LOCATION: HYBRID (Seattle or Bay Area)
PAY: Target pay for this role is between $75-$90 per hour but may vary based on experience
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract to Hire - 6 Months
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- This is a Senior-level Staff Software Engineer, Android position
- Design and develop highly scalable e-commerce applications for the Android platform
- Solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology
- Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms
- Drive projects of high visibility across the organization
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience designing and building scalable and reliable mobile front-end applications
- Expert knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and React-Native
- Solid understanding of the Android application lifecycle and advanced Android UI skills
- Proficiency in RESTful Services, GraphQL, Java, Spring Boot/Play Framework, RDBMS, NoSql
- Experience in production system operations (logging, telemetry, alerting, etc.)
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas
