Looking for a Laboratory Technician - Who will be responsible for supporting customer development timelines by preparing hardware upgrades to the latest software release. Additionally, they assist the system/system integration test team as part of their responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities for Laboratory Technician:
- Supports customer development and production teams
- Ensure that any slipping or tripping hazards are removed from the lab, such as grease, loose parts, nuts and bolts, and wet floors
- Responsible for conducting ECU verification checks (such as smoke testing) to ensure that deliverables meet required standards
- Maintains customer development vehicles and test benches by preparing systems and components, and updating them with the latest software releases as required
- Supports the planning process of timing & customer deliverables
Qualifications for Laboratory Technician:
- 0-2 years experience within Automotive
- Knowledge of 5's protocols
- Knowledge on Quality System (QS 9000 / IATF-16949) preferred
- Through understanding of electronics principles
- Proficient in online Google docs and Google drive preferred
Education Qualifications:
- 2 year technical degree or related “on the job” experience in a technical field or in automotive
