A leading Life Science manufacture in New Jersey are expanding their Automation division. They're on the hunt for an SME Automation Engineer to join the team.
This will be be acting as a technical lead for assigned projects across pharma & biotech.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the SME Automation Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:
- Developing code from scratch, testing, commission - PLC Allen Bradley control systems using RSLogix.
- Developing & customizing PLC, HMI & SCADA (Rockwell, Wonderware & GE iFix)
- Focusing on start-up, configure & testing with various hardware & software features across control system design.
- Reviewing control system design drawings (P&ID, control system schematics & interconnect drawings). Supporting CAD group.
- Visiting customer sites to perform commissioning & validation support for control systems.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the SME Automation Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history:
- BS - Engineering Degree
- Strong experience in project work across automation & industrial engineering
- Must have the ability to program PLC, HMI & SCADA systems across full lifecycle
