Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) Stack Engineer to a dynamic & high performing team, to support the design, development, and optimization of SOFC stacks.
Key Responsibilities: SOFC Stack Engineer
- Design and develop Solid Oxide Fuel Cell stacks, focusing on performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Conduct detailed modeling and simulation of SOFC stacks to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Perform testing and characterization of SOFC stacks, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including materials scientists, system engineers, and manufacturing teams, to integrate SOFC stacks into complete fuel cell systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of stack performance issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SOFC technology and incorporate relevant innovations into the design process.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications: SOFC Stack Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
- Proven experience in the design and development of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell stacks.
- Strong understanding of electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and materials science as they relate to SOFC technology.
- Proficiency in modeling and simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS) for fuel cell applications.
- Hands-on experience with testing and characterization techniques for fuel cells.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
