We’re seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to lead a team handling geotechnical investigations, engineering design, and construction observation for infrastructure, energy, and mining projects. This role will be held in Jacksonville, FL or Tampa, FL
The ideal candidate will:
- Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments.
- Ensure quality control in proposals and reports.
- Drive business development efforts and maintain client relationships.
- Mentor junior staff and engage with professional organizations.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills in soil and rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, foundation design, and soil improvement techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Geological, or Mining).
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
