Are you a seasoned Windows Client Platform Engineer with a passion for creating high-quality, robust software? A leading VC, known for founding giants in the tech industry, is looking for top-tier talent to join one of their dynamic portfolio companies.
You’ll be at the forefront of crafting software that isn’t just functional but elegant. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the user experience, ensuring accessibility, and building systems that perform flawlessly across diverse environments.
Ideally, you'll be a versatile engineer with a "generalist" mindset, bringing expertise in Win32, C/C++, and a deep understanding of the Windows environment. The right candidate will care about the details and have a keen eye for detail and a strong appreciation for good UX. You won't just follow design specs; you’ll contribute to the creative process and be a driving force behind innovation.
Major bonus points if you've worked on projects involving building recorders or similar systems - this experience is highly valued.
You will need to be on-site at least 3 days a week in Palo Alto for this, however, there could be some flexibility for the right candidate. If you’re relocating or require a sponsorship, that’s absolutely fine, it can be accommodated.
Compensation is highly competitive with the starting salary being in the range of $200,000 - $300,000 plus a significant equity package, full healthcare, dental and vision benefits, and 401k contributions.
