What you will be doing as a RF Design/Optimization/ DAS Engineer – Nationwide!
you’ll be redesigning mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR while working with other areas of network to ensure performance fixes and initiatives are in place. You’ll play a key role in making sure our customers continue to enjoy the crystal-clear connections and outstanding call performance that we’re known for.
Responsibilities include:
- A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in RF design.
- Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE and 5G technology.
- Expert knowledge of propagation modeling in Atoll.
- Experience with FUZE or similar database program
- Experience in RF design of LTE/VoLTE and 5G networks.
- Recent ATOLL experience
JOB DUTIES:
Understanding of LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
Knowledge of various RF tools such as MapInfo or post processing software.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, and Tableau including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Atoll tool experience.
- 5+ RF Design Experience in LTE and VoLTE.
- 5+ Design experience with both macro and small cell designs.
- Knowledge of RF plumbing and ability to integrate new technologies into design documents.
- Programming skills to develop macros in Excel and automate data audits.
- Ability to multi-tasks across varied assignments.
