We are looking to add a Product Coordinator to our fast-growing team in Salisbury, NC. This job will be primarily in person with a future hybrid option.
Job Description
The Product Coordinator reports to the Product Manager and will focus on maintaining product information to support the businesses in the Americas region. In this role, product information includes internal table information sets (SAP, Microsoft Excel) and documentation. The Product Coordinator’s key responsibility is to maintain a system of accurate cross-department product information sets, including sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, planning, regulatory, customer service, and more. An ideal candidate will be well-organized and have a high-level attention to detail to ensure that product information is consistent between documentation and departments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Updating product list information in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and SharePoint tables
- Working with operations, planning, and supply chain departments to update product commercialization statuses
- Reply to requests for product information from Innospec sales teams and other departments via ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software or other areas of stored information
- Generating and distributing product documentation through templates and request forms
- Generate reports and presentations as needed
- Reviewing product documentation for consistency
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year associate degree, preferred BS in Information Management, Data Analytics, Chemistry, Biology, or similar discipline
- 0 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company that specializes in B2B (business to business) products is preferred.
- An organized and detail-oriented individual with strong skills in Microsoft Office is key
- Travel is not expected for this role
- Position will be located in Salisbury, NC
Daily Responsibilities
- Updating product list tables with new information received typically, via email
- Reply to requests for information from sales, marketing, and others
- Reviewing production planning schedule for sample and project opportunities
- Reviewing open orders report for sample replenishment opportunities and commercialization status consistencies
- Soliciting sample request needs from sample coordinator
- Back-up resource for sample coordinator
- Follow-up with responsible parties for commercialization and decommercialization checklists
