Fire Protection/Electrical Technician (Construction – NICET)

Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Electrical resource to support client responsibilities related to fire protection and alarm systems. This individual will be responsible for performing periodic inspections and tests of basic fire alarm systems and prepare related records and reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and update fire alarm systems in fast-paced construction and manufacturing environments.
- Perform inspections, test alarms, and troubleshoot or document any issues.
- Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems to ensure systems are functioning properly.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting construction and industrial environments.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- NICET certification preferred (requires prior experience or training).
- Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus (including 70 and 72).
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Education:
Must have NICET (or similar relevant) certification related to fire protection and alarming.
