Smarter HR Solutions is looking to hire goal-oriented and self-motivated administrative professionals for our Administrative Scribe positions. This Scribe position will consist of traveling (75%-100%) to scheduled company client meetings to transcribe meeting notes, utilizing attention-to-detail skills to ensure meeting notes contain excellent usage of spelling, grammar, and sentence structure prior to submitting to the Department Manager, and utilizing Microsoft Office applications to create meeting reports and summaries.
Traveling Scribe applicants must have heavy attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, superb listening and time management skills, ability to type at least 45 WPM, and have strong critical thinking skills. Also, applicants are preferred to have a 4-year degree from an accredited institution and at least 5 years of relevant administrative experience (Associates Degree required).

The main office is located in Clear Lake, TX, but this is a high-travel position. Only candidates with extreme flexibility are encouraged to apply. Once trained, this position may require UP TO 4 (or 5 weeks) of travel a month. This is NOT a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe discovery meetings in English (and Spanish, if applicable), schedule client meetings, and make corrections or changes as noted.
- Required to travel (overnight) 1 to 5 weeks a month. Travel is normally departing (via plane) Sunday evening and returning the following Friday.
- Maintain strict adherence to client confidentiality according to company standards and government regulations.
- Review transcription documents for quality assurance and precision to spot and correct any errors that could impact client risk and liability.
- Utilize templates and enter data for record-keeping and archives.
- MUST be able to manage time, be reliable, and adhere to time and attendance expectations. In addition, MUST be able to manage office downtime productively.
Qualifications:
- A 4-year degree from an accredited institution or at least 5 years of administrative or relevant work experience.
- Must be able to follow instructions, take directions, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual and reliable disposition.
- Able to type at least 45 WPM.
- Must have reliable transportation.
