Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience administrating storage area networks, specializing in EMC and NetApp systems and Enterprise backup systems. Must have experience with storage cloud infrastructure. Must possess either a EMC Certified Storage Administrator, NetApp Certified Data Administrator certification, or equivalent.
Duties: Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the storage area network (SAN). Performs all maintenance, configuration and deployments to the SAN system. Provisions storage and monitors capacity. Provides daily support of the storage environment and backups. Works on storage related tasks such as volume creation, LUN provisioning and data migration.
Job Summary: The Storage IPv6 Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of storage systems within an IPv6-enabled network environment. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of storage resources, as well as managing IPv6 configurations and addressing issues related to both storage systems and IPv6 networks.
- Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience providing storage solutions engineering support, to include storage management, administration and maintenance of storage systems (e.g., SAN, INAS) ensuring high availability/and performance.
