Description:
Looking for a senior Data Scientist to develop the marketing measurement framework. The key goal for this person will be to apply modeling techniques and build on top of the results to guide budget decisions and impact marketing strategies and decisions. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong technical skills and experience in applying modeling results to improve business processes and demonstrate business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background as well as technical skills including media mix modeling and other ML algorithms. Familiarity working with large-scale datasets, and marketing and digital media would be a plus.
- PhD or MS degree, and preferred majors include Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, or related quantitative fields.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or PySpark
- 5+ years’ experience in machine learning or data science teams
- Strong proficiency in querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets using SQL and programming languages.
- A well-rounded background to balance the line between data science and the business. The “applied” part is as important as the data science part
- Excellent communication, relationship skills and a standout colleague
- 2+ years hands-on experience with programming large language models is a plus
- A curious mind, passion, and motivation to learn new skills, tools, and analytics techniques necessary to tackle business challenges
