JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be instrumental in turning data into compelling narratives that inform decisions and drive both business and business growth. You will work closely with teams, including Engineers and Business Experts, to develop interactive dashboards and provide actionable insights. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with teams to understand and address data needs.
- Create visually engaging and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders, both internally and for clients.
- Partner with leaders and Data Scientists to generate and present recommendation reports that translate complex findings into actionable insights.
- Utilize business intelligence tools to craft dynamic reports and presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data visualization to improve reporting capabilities.
- Assist IT teams in refining and organizing data for accurate reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with precision and accuracy.
- Proficiency in writing queries, generating reports, and presenting findings.
- Knowledge of data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with standard project management practices.
- Ability to work with IT teams to improve data quality.
- Experience with Amazon Quicksight, Superset, Redshift, and various data visualization/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Knowledge of and experience with Postgres and/or Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Nice to Have
- Ability to identify and analyze data trends to find opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Experience with AWS products related to analytics, computing, databases, developer tools, and machine learning.
- Knowledge of data standardization policies and the ability to develop data management tools, including data dictionaries, data models, and metadata repositories.
