Overall:
This is not a lab benchtop work position. This is a technical support role who will support customer on analytical service inquires and all MSE lab products.
Responsibilities:
1. Be proficient in the use of analytical equipment and sample preparation. Possess a working knowledge of the associated limitations and operating parameters for each analytical technique.
2. Process customers' requests for analysis and communication of results.
3. Establish and maintain liaison with sales team and product management team.
4. Document all the analytical service issues and conduct operation improvement.
5. Provides technical support to the customers for all MSE material and equipment regarding engineering, technical or scientific issues.
6. Communicate with manufacturer engineers to address the pre-sale quote inquiries and after sale issues.
7. Work with customers regarding the instrument manual request and repair support.
8. Provide feedback for product quality improvements
Requirements:
1. Master’s degree in chemistry or Material Science
2. Knowledge of analytical laboratory practices and equipment functionality, such as GC, HPLC, ICP, TGA, DSC, XRD, SEM, AFM and BET
3. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required
4. Experience in technical support or customer service is preferred
5. Proficient computer skills, i.e. Microsoft suites
6. Good time management and planning skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential
7.Both good a team player and individual worker
8.Excellent written and oral communication skills
