We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles and be able to create aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly web and mobile applications. This role requires someone who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to bring innovative and engaging experiences to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design & Development: Create intuitive, user-centric designs for web applications with mobile considerations, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and final designs.
User Research: Conduct user research and testing to understand user needs, identify pain points, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with external clients, internal departments, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions.
UI Implementation: Develop front-end components and ensure designs are accurately implemented, maintaining high standards of visual consistency and quality.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies, and continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests and analyze results to refine and enhance the user experience.
Documentation: Maintain and update design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and interaction patterns.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments and MS Suite.
- Design Skills:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Umbraco is a big plus.
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager is a plus.
Knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks like React.js and technologies like Node.js is a plus.
