Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Engineer for a Contract to Hire position with a client located in Victorville CA (Onsite). Ideally looking for candidates having experience in Electrical/Instrumentation, generally from Aerospace/Aviation domain.
Hourly Rate Range: $55-$65 per hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors
Project Duration- 09 months (Contract to Hire).
Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer - Flight Test
Job Description Summary
The Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in FUNCTION).
Ability and willingness to work off-shift hours including 2nd and 3rd Shifts and weekends when program requirements dictate.
Ability and willingness to travel off-site with Flying Test Bed when program requirements dictate.
Ability and willingness to work at offsite locations for extended periods of time as business needs dictate.
Able to obtain and maintain FAA Class-3 medical certificate or equivalent.
Ability and willingness to participate in development flight tests on an experimental aircraft.
Familiarity with Teamcenter and NX application
At least 3 additional years of experience in a relevant field.
