Summary:
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of Engineering and Maintenance Departments, focusing on process resolution and continuous improvement to enhance production, reduce costs, and achieve world-class reliability.
- Apply situational and servant leadership and create a compelling department vision.
- Apply a technical approach to lead continuous improvement and process resolution efforts.
Accountabilities:
- Manage the technical team to support teamwork and development.
- Manage capital expenditure, maintenance repairs, and energy budgets.
- Provide technical leadership for maintenance and project completion.
- Drive continuous improvement activities.
- Track and report on projects, safety, work orders, and energy.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of paper manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in management.
- Commitment to safety improvement.
- Ability to lead teams cooperatively and inspirationally.
- Handle multiple priorities and challenging deadlines.
- Develop strategic plans for continuous improvement.
