Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Azure DevOps Engineer who is eager to spearhead our software development lifecycle. This unique role is an opportunity to merge your DevOps experience with your database management and reporting skills. Although proficient Azure infrastructure handling is required, the primary focus of this role is to utilize Azure in advancing our software development, database, and reporting capabilities.
Working closely with the development and operations teams, successful candidates will lead various technical initiatives. This role is a fulfilling chance to contribute to our mission by ensuring all technical operations align with our company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing, managing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines as a part of our DevOps practice.
- Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for robust and efficient infrastructure management.
- Managing versions and enabling seamless collaborations via Git and Azure DevOps.
- Designing, managing, and optimizing databases including writing SQL scripts.
- Implementing robust backup and recovery strategies for databases.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive reports using SSRS and Power BI.
- Ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and training end-users effectively.
- Providing crucial support to the underlying Azure environment, including resource management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Essential Skills:
- DevOps: Proven experience with CI/CD, IaC, Git, Azure DevOps, along with robust monitoring, logging, security, and compliance skills.
- Database: Proficiency in database design, SQL scripting, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and Azure SQL Services.
- Reporting: Demonstrable knowledge of SSRS, Power BI, report automation, and data visualization.
- Azure: Proficient with Azure Resource Manager, monitoring dashboards, policy governance, and virtual machine management.
