Accountable for:
Quality Control and Inspections:
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in- process products, and finished goods.
- Identify and document non- conformities or deviations from quality standards.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow-up to ensure resolution of quality issues.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality audits.
- Prepare reports on quality performance and non-conformities.
Testing and Analysis:
- Conduct tests and analyses of food products, including microbiological, chemical and sensory evaluations.
- Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and properly maintained.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, HACCP, FSMA)
- Assist with regulatory audits and inspections.
