Day-to-Day:
Firewall Deployment and Configuration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls in accordance with industry best practices.
- Design and implement security policies and rules to control network traffic and mitigate potential threats.
Monitoring and Performance Management:
- Continuously monitor firewall performance and logs to detect and respond to security incidents and network anomalies.
- Perform regular health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning for firewall systems.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to firewall functionality, connectivity, and performance.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to address complex issues and ensure resolution.
Security and Compliance:
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of firewall configurations to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
- Update and patch firewall systems to address vulnerabilities and incorporate the latest security enhancements.
