As a Senior Lead Network Security Architect- SASE at JPMorgan Chase you play a crucial role as an expert in designing scalable network security controls for SSE/SASE in a team that is dedicated to creating top-notch cybersecurity solutions for a range of Network applications and platform products. Your skills and contributions have a substantial impact on the business, and your profound technical expertise is applied to solve a variety of cybersecurity issues across multiple technology domains.
Job responsibilities
Be a trusted security advisor for our Network Product Line and Line of Businesses Teams by defining, delivering and maintaining secure architecture throughout the existing and future environments, consisting of complex, global architectures
Introduce improvements in existing implementation patterns and architectural design concepts for modern technologies and enterprise-wide security initiatives, including Zero Trust architecture to support the business and help mitigate risks
Focus on identifying risk in middle-mile cloud-transit software defined network solutions such as SD-WAN and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Secure Service Edge (SSE) security components.
Work with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
Serve as function-wide subject matter expert establishing governance frameworks through enterprise controls.
Lead threat modeling activities and risk analysis supporting different design iterations
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- The customer is specifically looking for a SME level Network Security Architect with SASE enterprise level experience to tell them right and wrong when implementing- **they do not want to see Network Engineers**
- Pluses (Thread modeling/risk analysis)
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, threat modeling, security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. NIST, CIS, ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc…)
- In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) such as SD-WAN and SASE/SSE architectures and respective components (e.g. CASB, DLP, SWG, FwaaS, etc…).
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and best practices such as OAuth, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, and multi-factor authentication.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies such AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Formal training or certification on Cybersecurity concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controls.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
