Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain on-going customer relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
- Sell the organization's products and/or services to established customers or new prospects.
- Handle entire sales process from proposal to close; reach or exceed sales quotas.
- Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.
- Collaborate with the Finance Group to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.
- Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group i.e. clear details, critical time-frames, and expectations.
- Assist in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models for business proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in business, science or other related discipline.
- 1-3 years in outside sales, preferably automotive related.
- The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally.
- Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel, often on short notice.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
