Job Description
This position is responsible for FPGA architecture and design, using System Verilog, to support our test equipment platforms. You will oversee the entire design process from innovating new technologies and solutions to system verification and validation of our solution.
Responsibilities
- Design and propose the analysis/evaluation of hardware architectures.
- Design and code RTL modules written in SystemVerilog and targeting FPGAs.
- Simulate and perform hardware-based testing, debug, and verification of FPGA designs.
- Scripting and basic software development in support of hardware design.
Qualifications
Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional digital logic design, development and verification for ASICs or FPGA.
Preferred:
- Experience in digital logic design and verification in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL highly preferred.
- Deep experience with FPGA programming including timing closure, resource management, and using IP libraries highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog.
- Ability to read and write code in C, C++, C#, SystemC, Powershell, and/or Python
- Good communication skills and ability to facilitate collaboration across teams.
- Experience with MIPI UniPro, UFS, PCIe, DDR, I2C protocols.
- Understanding of circuit theory, transmission line theory, and high-speed signal fundamentals.
- Printed circuit board design experience including experience with high-speed signal integrity and transmission lines.
- Operating general lab equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, bus & protocol analyzers, device programmers).
