Role: Senior Platform Engineer [DevSecOps]
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Hybrid
Overview:
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and platforms that support our applications and services. You will play a vital role in ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based environments and infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in a Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud-Native Engineering, DevOps Engineering or Advocacy role
- Expertise with containers and container orchestration, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Expertise writing production code with an industry standard programming language using Agile methodologies.
- Strong Scripting Experience
- Expertise practicing Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code techniques.
- Expertise managing multiple code bases in Git.
- Expertise creating Continuous Integration builds and deployment automation, for example CI/CD Pipelines
- Expertise building and supporting Cloud Native applications in a major public cloud.
- Expertise implementing observability, application monitoring, and log aggregation solutions.
- Expertise working with cross functional teams to provide DevOps inspired solutions.
Good to have:
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Banking/Financial domain is a strong plus.
