A consulting services company is currently seeking a new Sr. Epic A/R Consulting Manager for a Remote opportunity with their team. This is a client-facing role that will be focused on improving A/R performance for a health system undergoing an Epic transformation.
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Epic A/R Consulting Manager will be responsible for:
- Helping create Billing & Follow-up SOP (Standard of Operations) for Epic used throughout the Enterprise
- Working closely with Directors of Billing and Follow-up to streamline workflow processes
- Training Managers and Supervisors on multiple AR reports to help improve KPI's; AR days, CFB and Cash collections
- Reviewed and resolved high dollar accounts to drive reimbursement for the organization
- Assisting Senior Operational Leaders with AR reporting documentation for Executive Leadership meetings
- Identify trends, root causes and opportunities for A/R performance improvement
- Responsible for understanding and utilizing EPIC reporting and functionality to achieve goals, including escalating issues to EPIC IT as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of A/R management experience in patient financial services, billing and/or collections follow-up
- Expert level knowledge of back-end revenue cycle process including denials management, claims, billing, and collections
- Experience within a large hospital or integrated healthcare delivery system
- Strong experience utilizing Epic for Revenue Cycle operations
- Experience with utilizing Epic Reporting and working with claims data
- Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Operations Process Improvement
- Expertise in Epic
- Ability to streamline current workflows
Desired Skills:
- Experience helping stabilize Epic Rev Cycle environment shortly after an Epic go-live.
- Any Revenue Cycle certifications such as CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative)
- Training Experience
