Our client, a global brand of next level household appliances, is seeking an ambitions Senior Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team based in the North New Jersey area. With intelligence and purpose, they are designing smart products using innovative IoT technology, guarantying flawless results.
Role
Joining this team requires someone who is reliable and passionate about creating innovative experiences for customers worldwide. The candidate will focus on overseeing and participating in schematic/PCB design and firmware architecture decisions involving IoT (Wifi/Bluetooth) Product Development.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in firmware development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
- Experience working on IoT products, ideally AWS IoT (Not essesntial)
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software integration.
- Extensive experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
- Experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors (Ideally Espressif/ESP32)
- Hands on experience working with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
- Proven track record of successfully bringing products from concept to market.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
