Job Function
- Maintain project scope, schedule, and budget from sales handover to customer acceptance
- Assess project risks and coordinate plan to mitigate
- Identify critical path items and coordinate execution to schedule
- Develop and communicate project schedule with key milestone dates to external and internal customers
- Track and communicate variances in budget throughout project life cycle
- Develop material and operational improvements with the customer to deliver superior quality systems
- Coordinate schedule execution to milestone dates with internal BIS groups including engineering, control systems, purchasing and procurement, assembly, testing, quality, logistics and technical services
- Forecast all project materials and services for expected date that Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and related Recognized Revenue based on key milestone completion dates
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in managing capital projects for industrial facilities and/or equipment supply
- 10+ years of experience with management of installation, startup, and commissioning of industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodology
Strong understanding of industrial projects and equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability/Knowledge to work with power tools
Ability to operate manlift equipment
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Approximately 10-20% (collection of a week a month)
- Several trips per assigned project based on site needs for successful installation and commissioning
