CK Science are seeking a Strategy Development, Associate Director on a full time basis based in Boston, MA.
- Salary: $140,000-$155,000 base
- Travel: Domestic and international travel for business is required (up to 25% of the time)
- Office commute at least 2 times a week (Cambridge Office)

The Associate Director of Strategy Development will facilitate the strategy in developing and executing innovation and corporate growth through partnerships/alliances, acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures. This role will specifically focus on driving growth in healthcare related businesses.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead cross-functional team to develop and execute innovation and growth strategies, including market intelligence, business planning, feasibility validation, approval, deal execution and customer alignment.
- Gather and evaluate key insights and benchmarking data such as competitive intelligence, operational performance, innovation and market trends from multiple internal and external sources to develop strategic options.
- Partner with Corporate Strategy/Investment/R&D/Business teams and key stakeholders to systematically develop and execute strategic options (R&D, partnerships, strategic investments, M&A, etc.).
- Manage key external relationships (e.g., with strategic advisory partners, investment banks, and other channels) to support early identification of relevant opportunities and generate steady deal flow.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:- Master's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field. Ph.D. is preferred.
- Experience 5+ years of experience in a consulting or advisory firm developing growth strategies in healthcare or biotech related industries, including experience leading the development of market intelligence, R&D/business strategy, and/or partnering strategies.
- Experience facilitating strategy execution with business or R&D unit, including collaboration development, deal structuring, and post-deal integration processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:- Excellent strategic planning, project management, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and utilize insights and data to make sound business decisions; strong quantitative data analysis skills, including financial modeling.
- Understanding of science and technologies, corporate strategy, business development, and M&A principles.
- Ability to develop business cases, including establishing assumptions with supporting data, identifying key performance drivers, developing financial pro forma, and highlighting opportunities and risks that could drive more aggressive or conservative scenarios.
- Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities; ability to clearly communicate and adapt presentation style to deliver compelling messages to senior leaders, key stakeholders, board members, and external business partners.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of different backgrounds to efficiently complete cross functional initiatives.
