Senior SAP BASIS Lead (S/4 - RISE) – Remote (U.S.)

My client who is the operating company for a selection of leading Global sports brands (manufacturing) is currently looking to on board a Senior S/4 BASIS Lead.
My client is happy for this individual to work 100% remotely, with very infrequent travel to HQ (Massachusetts) periodically throughout the year for key meet ups. Individuals must be based within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.

The Role – As a Senior BASIS Lead, you’ll look to partner with internal and external functional, technical and security resources to maintain the life-cycle management, security, and performance of our client’s SAP S/4 HANA systems within a cloud environment. Key experience is a heavy BASIS background with recent BTP and ideally RISE project experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the SAP S/4 systems, including system installation, upgrades and application of patches (OSS notes, support packages, add-ons).
- Support the technical implementation of the SAP system landscape as it evolves (i.e., development, test, staging and production).
- Coordinate and/or Perform system refreshes; participate in the scheduling of refreshes as requested.
- Monitor and tune capacity planning, performance and workflow.
- Responsible for the accountability of hosting partner and other partners and developers, aiming for timeliness in execution, excellence in quality, and reasonable costs.
- Liaise with the business to execute project creation, business blueprints, realization, final preparation, and go-live support.
- Apply standard SAP principles, concepts and techniques in system installation, monitoring performance, problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Administers Three-Tier security policies & procedures; execute security approved requests; ensure compliance.
- Provide documents of evidence to internal and external auditors for audits which have the SAP landscape and JSOX in scope.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, business or related field (MIS, IT) required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration and Security (GRC) and 3 to 4 years working within S/4HANA environments.
- Full life cycle implementation experience and support of SAP S/4HANA. Experienced in SAP Migration Projects.
- Experience with SAP BTP
- Experience administering S/4HANA RISE a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Communication, working with people across all business channels, must be able to manage people well and communicate new ideas effectively.
- SAP Certifications in S/4HANA, OS/DB Migration, NetWeaver and SAP HANA preferred.
Salary Bandings – $145k-$155k Per Annum + Bonus (20%) + Benefits
