We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role involves working closely with various departments to support their technology needs and ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and storage.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect the infrastructure from threats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to support business objectives.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve the infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong background with IT infrastructure engineering technologies like VMWare, O365, Active Directory, Windows Servers, etc.
- Proven experience in setting up and configuring networks from scratch, including designing network architecture, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and ensuring secure connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server management, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus.
